MindShift Gear has announced its new FirstLight camera backpack series, which accommodates DSLRs and big lenses in the 200mm to 600mm range. There are three backpacks in the new series: the FirstLight 20L, FirstLight 30L and FirstLight 40L.
MindShift Gear notes that these aren’t photography backpacks but outdoor backpacks designed specifically for photography. With 11 adjustment points, they allow for a custom fit for each user and are built for extend days of travel.
Although they are designed to carry large lenses, they also meet airline carry-on size requirements. All three bags have a laptop pouch. The 20L and 30L models carry a 15″ laptop, while the 40L model can handle a 17″ laptop.
The 30L and 40L models have a dedicated hydration pocket on the side, and all bags include a tripod/monopod mounting system as well as a seamless rain cover.
